Our client, Princeton University, has an immediate need for a temporary Electronic Assembler . The Electronic Assembler will apply expertise in the assembly and packaging of research devices.

This is a part time opportunity that starts immediately, and will last until approximately November / December. This is a fully onsite position located in Princeton, NJ, that offers a pay rate up to $25 / hr.

Essential Duties :

• Working on small components under a microscope.
• Build hybrid, multi-chip module, and integrated circuit package assemblies.
• Epoxy die attach using semi-automatic die placement machine.
• Wedge bonding and ball bonding using semi-auto wire bonding machines.
• Ensure proper alignments and bonding of the dies / components onto substrates.
• Conduct inspections under the microscope to identify and address any defects or discrepancies.
• Perform rework removing epoxy, die, and other components from the substrate.

Key Competencies :

• Technical comprehension and ability to recognize deviation in area of expertise.
• Understanding of process specifications for die placement and wire bond.
• Excellent manual dexterity
• Ability to interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and work instructions.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment

Minimum Qualifications :

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must have basic math skills.
