Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cable Installer to join our team. In this role, you will install and maintain cables for computers, routers, telephone systems, and other electronic equipment. Your responsibilities will include communicating with customers to understand their needs, assessing the project requirements, removing the old equipment, and installing new cables. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has an excellent understanding of electrical equipment.
Responsibilities 
  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs
  • Assess the project requirements, including design and equipment
  • Install cables in homes, commercial, retail, and industrial spaces
  • Remove old, damaged, or unnecessary cables and equipment
  • Troubleshoot cable and network problems
  • Educate customers on basic operating instructions
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience as a Cable Installer, low-voltage technician, or related experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of telecommunications and electrical equipment and systems
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to bend repeatedly, lift heavy objects, and work in small spaces
