J.J. Nichting is seeking a high energy, self-motivated individual to join our team as an Experienced Sales Representative. This representative would be serving Mt. Pleasant and the surrounding areas.

J.J. Nichting is a leading implement dealer of top manufacturing lines like CASE IH in the tri-state area of Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. The ideal candidate will be driven to build long-lasting relationships with our customers and meet their needs with energy and a focus on customer satisfaction. Candidate will prospect and generate new agriculture equipment business as well as perform cold calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support clients and conduct product demonstrations.

Responsibilities:

· Serve customers by selling products and meeting their needs.

· Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on potential customers.

· Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential customer needs.

· Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

· Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.

· Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

· Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in local Ag related entities.

· Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Schedule:

· Full-time Monday to Friday

· Occasional Saturdays

Requirements

· Prefer 2 years of Ag Sales experience or5 years of Sales experience.

· Strong negotiation and closing skills.

· Customer service experience and mentality.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.

· Agriculture background.

· Access to and experience with technology.

· Valid Driver's License with an insurable driving record.
