We are currently seeking a Lawn Care Technician who is dedicated, hardworking, and eager to learn. This role involves operating lawn care equipment, performing tasks assigned by the Account Manager/Supervisor, and maintaining our high standards of service. You will be part of a team that values safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks assigned by Account Manager/Supervisor in a safe and efficient manner.
• Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain company yard, buildings, vehicles, trailers, and client work sites in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
• Understand and adhere to JFD’s Lawn Care program and safety rules.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs if required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Able to operate lawn care equipment.
• Physically able to handle the workload of a lawn care technician.
• Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
• Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Able to communicate in English.
• A valid Ohio Driver’s License and be insurable by JFD’s insurance company to drive JFD vehicles.
• Ability to drive & backup truck & trailer.
• Experience not necessary but a plus. We will train.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hour and up based on experience. Overtime is paid at time and a half over 40 hours per week.
