Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Lawrence, MA

Length of contract: 13- week contract.

Pay Rate: $72-$75 an hour depending on experience.

Duties:
- Provide direct and specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform invasive procedures such as inserting IV lines, arterial lines, and urinary catheters
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care

Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of MA

-BLS Required

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Proficient in operating medical equipment and technology used in the ICU

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $72.00 - $75.00 per hour
