We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska who enjoys new challenges, is driven, and leads by example. The ideal candidate will strive to create happy residents through providing superior customer service and a well-maintained property. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for ensuring work orders are being completed timely, working with vendors, supply ordering, apartment turns, service requests, and maintaining the physical integrity of our buildings and ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for all. Maintenance Technicians must maintain high-level communication with management, residents and vendors in order to be able to enact changes quickly when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Perform safety checks for all equipment used in the maintenance department.
• Diagnose and perform minor/routine maintenance repairs as needed involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and drywall/painting.
• Inspect and maintain building systems, facilities, and grounds; including trash removal, windows, doors, roofs, heating and cooling equipment, electrical systems property amenities and grounds.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections of all systems to ensure their proper functioning.
• Perform unit inspections and assist vendors in the make ready process prior to resident move ins.
• Prioritize and complete urgent repairs and maintain a record of repairs.
• Available to be on-call for emergency work orders on scheduled nights/weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
