4 Day Program - 50/50 Behind the Chair and Apprenticeship Behind the Chair:

• Must be able to effectively communicate to guests in an attentive, friendly, and courteous manner while providing “world-class” service.
• Provide excellent customer service by educating guests on products while ensuring an excellent experience from beginning to end.
• Promote and represent J.Con in a professional and enthusiastic manner
• Perform haircut, color, style, and treatment services on guests
• Recruit, build, and retain a client base
• Mentor under a Master Stylist 
• Perform Salon Styling work on Senior Floor Guests
• Booked guests or Blow outs for Senior Stylists
• Moved to Non-request upon completion of Core Education.
• When not with guests: class/learning module, practice on mannequin or model, test outs.

Apprenticeship:

• Apprenticeship to a Master Stylist
• Assigned to different Master Stylists for the purpose of learning their specialty skills.
• Working with a Master Stylist will include hands on experience.
• Available in the case of emergency needs of a Master Stylist

Compensation:

Minimum wage ($12/hr) or sliding scale commission, whichever is greater; plus tips.

Requirements

• Approachable, positive attitude
• Work well with others as a team
• Being comfortable performing a shampoo and scalp massage
• Willingness to jump in when needed
• Cosmetology degree
• Florida Cosmetology license
• Willing to work as a team
• Enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to learn
• Able to work in a performance driven, fast-paced environment
