Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a dental receptionist (minimum of 3 years)
- Proficient in using Dentrix Software
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems in a dental setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures and treatments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and dental staff
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training is a plus
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information in dental office systems
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and managing office supplies
