This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to fill an essential role on a great team with room for advancement. The candidate will be exposed to all aspects of real estate investment, underwriting and valuation within a boutique entrepreneurial investment firm located in Clarendon, VA. This role requires self-motivation, problem solving, accountability, teamwork, and attention to detail.

The Accounting AR/AP Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

· Daily Cash Management

· Invoice Coding

· Main point of contact with vendors

· Prepare Tenant CAM Packages

· Responsible for working in conjunction with Property Management for the monitoring and collection of tenant receivables.

· Assist with monthly financial reporting preparation

· Assist with quarterly investor reporting and distributions

· Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting for entire portfolio

· Assist CFO and Director of Lease Administration with ad-hoc projects and deliverables.

· File Management

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

- Proficiency in Yardi or other accounting software a plus.
- Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and financial concepts
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with technical accounting principles
