We are a regional employer and most of our work is performed within an hour’s drive from the Lynchburg, Virginia airport area. (Roanoke, Danville, Martinsville, Halifax, Farmville, Charlottesville, Waynesboro, Staunton, and similar localities.)
Equipment Operator (Equipment Operator / Ground person) - Should be familiar and able to work with line and electric crews using various types of equipment such as digger derricks, excavators, trenchers, boring machines, etc. for all types of utility and electrical construction. Prior training or work experience will be given for consideration in selections and hiring. Should be familiar with safe working practices, be in good physical condition and health, at least 18 years of age and have valid state drivers license with a CDL rating or able to obtain within 60 days. Must be able to work 40 hours per week or more (if required), and work in extreme weather conditions. Should be self-motivated and have a desire to learn a trade and career. Drug and alcohol testing will be required. Earn top pay based on
qualifications, past work history and experience.
