IXL Learning Center of Berkley is looking to hire Assistant Teachers for our childcare center. All work will be performed at our center in Berkley, MI.

Responsibilities of an IXL Assistant Teacher

• Work closely with the lead teacher

• Help plan and prepare a safe classroom environment

• Supervise children in classroom and on playground at all times, which may include lifting children and/or equipment

• Housekeeping and cleaning of our classroom environment

• Maintain a professional and positive attitude

• Daily communication with parents

Requirements of an IXL Assistant Teacher

• Looking for someone who is positive, caring, loving, and patient

• Must work well with others

• Able to lift children of varying ages and equipment of varying sizes

• Early childhood experience is preferred
