Weekend Night Shift Hours:
Friday - Sunday 7pm-7:30am
Pay based on Level $24.75 - $34.65 / hrly
Must have knowledge of SLC 500 & RSLogix
A manufacturing maintenance mechanic is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment in a manufacturing facility.
Job duties include:
1. Performing regular maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment to identify and fix any issues or malfunctions.
2. Conducting preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
3. Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with machinery and equipment and implementing appropriate repairs.
4. Operating various tools and equipment to repair or replace defective parts.
5. Collaborating with other maintenance personnel and production teams to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
6. Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
7. Following safety protocols and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
8. Monitoring and ordering supplies and replacement parts as needed.
9. Conducting routine safety checks to identify and address potential hazards.
10. Assisting with the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
Requirements for this role typically include:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
4. Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
8. Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when required.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to adhere to them at all times.
