About this position:
As a System Admin, your role is pivotal in ensuring the reliable operation and security of our Linux/UNIX-based systems. You will be responsible for tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and software, as well as monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You'll manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems, while also implementing and maintaining system backups and disaster recovery procedures. Collaboration with other IT teams to support organizational initiatives and projects is essential. Strong technical skills in Linux/UNIX systems, scripting languages like Bash or Python, and a knack for problem-solving are key qualifications for this role.
Experience Levels: Roles classified based on experience levels and proficiency in tools and technologies. 0-3 years for Junior roles, 3-6 years for Mid-level, 6 years for Senior roles. Mid-level to Senior roles, ability to clearly articulate ideas is key, fostering successful project execution and enhancing team synergy.
Salary Range: 80k-125k - Compensation is determined by the candidate's expertise, experience, and location.
