The Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) Program Recruiter will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive recruitment plan aimed at attracting prospective students to Iowa Western's AMT program. This role involves engaging with targeted demographics (such as first-year minority, females, and veterans) and communities to increase awareness of aviation career opportunities and promote enrollment in the program. The recruiter will conduct daily, on-the-ground outreach activities, utilize specific marketing materials, and organize recruitment events to connect with potential students. Collaboration with local school districts will be essential to promote awareness of aviation careers among high school graduates. Duties include but are not limited to:Develop and implement a recruitment plan to attract prospective students to the AMT program.Conduct daily, on-the-ground outreach efforts to engage with potential students in targeted demographics and communities.Utilize specific marketing materials and recruitment strategies to effectively communicate the benefits of the AMT program.Organize and execute recruitment events and activities, including informational sessions, facility tours, and hands-on demonstrations.Collaborate with local school districts to promote awareness of aviation careers among high school graduates.Collaborate with veteran community organizations to promote awareness of aviation careers.Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and student interactions.Stay informed about industry trends, competitor programs, and best practices in recruitment strategies.
