Systems Support Technician

Responsible for daily monitoring of IT systems, taking customer support calls/tickets and providing timely resolutions to issues. Responsible for software installation, configuration, and upgrades. General networking switching and protocols. Perform general troubleshooting of systems, databases, workstations, servers and printers to provide a high level of service to end users.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day on-site and remote support of software, workstations, mobile devices, accessories, and printers.
• Prioritize ticketing system flow to ensure we meet SLA’s.
• Coordinating Support Sessions with Users
• Documenting each service ticket with detail.
• Perform workstation installations patching and upgrades as needed.
• Support Business Units as needed or instructed.
• Additional project tasks and or responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' equivalent experience
• Excellent customer service orientation and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt, work under pressure in a mission critical environment.

• Experience with Desktop OS’s, Windows 10 and 11
• Experience using Active Directory
• Experience with Office 365 suites
• Experience working within a Network Domain environment.
• Experience with network protocols, routing & switching.
• Experience with CISCO wireless 802.11x
• Experience adding and removing devices from domain.
• Experience applying server and desktop patches and security updates.
• Experience working with VM’s
• Working knowledge of MFA authentication and methods
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN and GPO’s
• Should be able to lift weight up to 30 lbs at waist level.
• Should be able kneel or bend under the desk for cabling and PC setups.
• Experience with various desktop systems, operating systems, and diverse technical environments.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent required.
• Computer Science, Information Systems or computer related discipline required.
