Job Description: Indorama Oxides and Derivatives, Inc. is looking for a EHSQ IMS Coordinator Intermediates to join our team in Clear Lake. The EHSQ IMS Coordinator Intermediates will plan, coordinate, and direct the quality system to ensure continuous improvement of products and processes to monitor the quality system measurable metrics and report status to senior management. The EHSQ IMS Coordinator Intermediates will ensure that processes needed for quality management are established, implemented, and maintained through internal and external audits. What will be expected of you? With minimal supervision and much decision-making: Reviews and assures implementation of site policies, guidelines, procedures, RACI matrix and standards aligned with segment requirements Quality Procedures Manual. Assists in development and maintenance of quality assurance objectives in support of company policies and goals. Provides guidance into site KPIs and their criteria with a continuous improvement approach and governance. Cascades quality targets throughout the site. Provides Monthly Quality Reports to management. Prepares and leads Management Reviews. Manages site’s quality related certifications, executing actions based on risk analysis, potential and real nonconformities, seeking continuous improvement: ISO 9001, etc. Leads the development and implementation of new quality related certifications in support of changing business strategies. Manages internal and external quality nonconformities: communication, investigation, treatment, response time to the customers and lessons learned. Prepares and distributes reports/ investigations on customer complaints, investigations, and other quality KPIs. Ensures suppliers meet Indorama quality system requirements and keeps records of supplier self-assessments. Maintains Nonconforming Product and Supplier Nonconformance records and reports. Coordinates, hosts, and participates in quality audits (internal and external) and Customer visits and responds to audit findings with appropriate corrective action. Leads internal quality auditing program and works with site audit team to ensure audits are completed according to schedule. Performs periodic analysis and trending of nonconformances identified from internal and external audits, customer complaints and quality nonconformities. Communicates these results and facilitates development of corrective and preventive action plans. Monitors and analyzes customer’s perception of the facility. Manages customer paperwork required Quality critical analysis (questionnaires, surveys, and responses). Performs and coordinates investigations and resolution of customer complaints at site. Facilitates the investigation of Customer Complaints against the facility and ensures effective corrective actions. Manages Corrective and Preventive Action records and reports. Assists with follow-up and verification of Corrective and Preventive Actions. Ensures responses and actions are completed on all audit findings and properly logged in tracking system. Performs and supports site on training related to: Quality Management System. Providing Quality and Technical assistance to Plant personnel, Customers and Segment. Assist with quality inspections of shipping containers/ vessels. Coordinate retesting of retains, for complaints, returned products or recertification. Ability to work extra hours as needed. Work collaboratively with team members and other departments and business functions. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor. Participates in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company-required training programs. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Assist with maintaining the Waiver Database. Manage the Quality Document Control System. What are we looking for in the ideal candidate? Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or another closely related field (preferred). Minimum 4 years of experience in chemical manufacturing within the Quality Control/ Quality Assurance environment. Understanding and experience of ISO concepts and requirements. Lead Auditor certifications is preferred. Training and experience in Root Cause Analysis. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives. Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives. Assists other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor. Participates in Environmental, Health, Security, Safety & Quality initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company required training programs. High level of proficiency with Microsoft programs, working knowledge of SAP and SharePoint. Lead Auditor experience in ISO9001, ISO 14001, Responsible Care (RC14001/ RCMS), and Vendor auditing. Literate and experienced with ISO9001, ISO14001, Responsible Care (RC14001/ RCMS), Halal, etc. Training and experience with Lean Six Sigma (desired but not required). Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies. Excellent oral and written communication skills and is able to communicate effectively through all levels of the organization. What can we offer you?
