Overview
We have a rewarding full-time opportunity available on our 4N – Adult Medical Liver/GI unit at University Hospital! This unit specializes as a GI/Liver Medical/Surgical Unit caring for patients with chronic liver disease, pancreatitis, and other GI related disorders, as well as pre/post liver and kidney, transplant patients, and patients who have undergone ERCP procedure. Our nurses use critical thinking as they support high acuity patients. Nurses will build upon of variety of skills such as IV’s, NG placement, G, J, GJ tubes, enternal/parental feeds, etc.
This Adult Medical Liver/GI unit is fast paced with lots of team collaboration. Our nurses educate patients and families of the illness while building professional relationships.
