We have opportunities on our team for you to specialize in higher acuity patients. Our nurses have the opportunity to use their nursing skills and experience to make an immediate impact on our patient's lives. Our magnet designated hospital specializes in cardiac, septic, respiratory distress, and general high acuity patients. PCU RN’s have a healthy nurse to patient ratio compromising of up to 1:4. Additionally, we require every third weekend and a holiday rotation.

The registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The clinical nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities

  • Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
