IU Health has exciting nursing opportunities in our East Central Region Medical Stroke Unit. Our magnet-designated hospital specializes in multi-specialty patients.
Medical Stroke Unit:
This newly remodeled, 25 private bed unit, is committed to delivering the best, high quality, compassionate care. On the Medical Stroke Unit, we use a team approach consisting of nurses, physicians, patient care assistants, case managers, and secretarial support staff. Our care team specializes in the care of acutely ill medical/surgical patients, with a primary focus on patients effected by strokes. We pride ourselves on our strong partnership and high quality care we deliver to our patients. Our unit is even a part of a national research study, one of only four hospitals in the nation that are involved.
