IU Health Methodist's Neuro Critical Care Nurses care for patients suffering from brain injury, aneurysms and severe strokes. Neuro Critical Care provides emergency services and 24/7 customized and monitored treatments to help patients recover from serious neurological conditions.
Neuro Critical Care (NCC) is part of Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. NCC houses 33 beds with a widely diverse neurosurgical, neurotrauma, neuroradiology, and medical neurological patient population, and is one of the largest neurocritical care units in the country. NCC staff care for some of the highest acuity neuro patients in the state and has the highest number of patient days in all the IUH Adult Academic Health Center. Dedication to excellence and quality care measures are of utmost importance to NCC staff and multi-disciplinary teams as evidenced by exceptional quality data. The NCC team embraces teamwork, the complexity of their patients, and advocates relentlessly for the best possible outcomes.
