Summary:

The Master Scheduler will interact with various departments ensuring that customer demand is scheduled in accordance with a high level of customer service, factory throughput, and inventory management. The Master Scheduler will lead demand planning and maintain ownership of all planning parameters. The Master Scheduler will work closely with Customer Demand and Product Line Managers to provide operational support to specific customer or product line needs.

Essential Responsibilities

• Overall lead daily production requirements ensure activities are accomplished and achieved to meet customer expectation by planning and scheduling manufacturing considering material availability, capacities, manpower, and customer/forecasted requirements
• Responsible for manufacturing forecasting, definition of lot size optimization, establishing minimum balances, follow-up of raw material release, shop order release, Ensure release messages are actioned accordingly.
• Responsible for offloading /outsourcing strategies implementation.
• ECO review and approval related to Materials, BOM or routings
• Review, identify constraints in the capacity and plan. Coordinate to remove the constraints to ensure customer demand schedule is attained.
• Generate production resource requirement plan to include labor, equipment, fixtures, tools and sub-materials, etc. and review for alignment with Focus Factories.
• Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods changes.
• Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality
• Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
• Identifies changes to the production schedule and coordinates the relevant departments to resolve customer deliveries.
• Researching and identifying the root cause for past due sales orders on-time delivery to find solutions to avoid it in the future.
• Overseas and maintains the production schedule and performance metrics that align with companies’ goals and other reports as required. Recommend actions to be taken to keep all performance targets on track.
• Review the status reports for production progress, work in progress inventory.
• Action Aged WIP lots to support Inventory budgets.
• Determine reasons for aging inventory and engage with Focus Factory Leadership to correct inventory discrepancies.
• Interacts with Production management daily to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from, Product Management, Purchasing, Customer Service and Accounting
• Proactively works with Purchasing and Fabrication to eliminate materials shortages in time to meet customer delivery dates as well as safety stock levels as indicated by companies’ MRP.

Position Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience in production planning in a manufacturing setting is required• Experience expediting parts and products through the manufacturing process. • Experience participating in inventory management and lead time planning to win orders • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Operations Management or Engineering is required• Planning of foundry, machining, or fabrication areas/activities is required• MRP experience including forecasting and stocking levels is required, SAP is preferred• Strong communication skills to work with both domestic and international project teams.• Strong product/parts knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, purchasing and planning process• Technical background/ability to interpret blueprints• Lean inventory management process• Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills• Customer interface experience as required

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range

$68,200 -$101,800 Includes Competitive benefits package and Team rewards.
