Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Exterior Car Wash Associate to join our team at Itsabetterwash.com by Triple T Car Wash. For 25 years, we have proudly owned and operated this location, providing excellent car wash services to our community. This role is crucial for providing our customers with a pristine and satisfying car wash experience. The associate will be responsible for pre de-bugging vehicles, operating the cash register, and maintaining the vacuum areas. This is a great summer job opportunity for college students, with options for weekend-only hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre De-bugging: Perform preliminary cleaning of vehicles to remove bugs, tar, and other debris before they enter the wash tunnel.
• Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly demeanor, assist them with any questions or concerns, and ensure they have a positive experience.
• Cash Register Operation: Accurately handle cash and card transactions, manage receipts, and provide change as necessary.
• Vacuum Area Maintenance: Keep the vacuum areas clean and organized, empty trash bins, and ensure vacuum equipment is in good working order.
• General Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, including the wash tunnel, waiting areas, and restrooms.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and customers.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required by management to support the overall operation of the car wash.

Requirements:

• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in a wet environment with temperature variations.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Customer Service Skills: Friendly and approachable with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Reliability: Dependable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience: Previous experience in a car wash or customer service role is preferred but not required.

Legal Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
