Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an Engineer to work in the Columbus, OH or Tulsa, OK area for a top utility and energy company. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

• This position is posted as a range. It is open to new graduates with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Electrical is preferred however Mechanical may be considered.
• Hybrid Work Schedule – 1 day per week in office with remaining days working remote.
• Must have U.S. driver’s license.

 
Job Summary:
 
The successful candidate will perform electrical transmission system analysis and protection system studies. 
 
Job Duties:

• Accurately model transmission system topology including lines, generators, and transformers for Medium, High, and Extra High Voltages using ASPEN OneLiner.
• Perform area protection studies and develop relay settings for existing and new transmission line and station protection schemes.
• Contribute to development of system-wide protection standards for transmission and distribution station protection, metering, and control applications.
• Perform activities related to NERC P&C standards.

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET. New graduates will be considered at the Associate Level. Two plus years of experience required to be considered at the Engineer Level.
• Experience with ASPEN software preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
