Job Description
We are currently hiring video editors to tell visual stories. This is an entry level position, but at least 1 year of social media video editing experience would be preferred. Gather clear, dynamic photos and videos of customers, employees, attractions, and overall facility. Update media equipment and equipment tracking log when needed. Coordinate logistics for filming. Secure intellectual property rights for all promotional videos. Edit and submit content to the marketing department.
Responsibilities and Duties
Content Creation
● Curate and edit videos for a variety of campaigns including promotional videos, interviews, facility features, and more.
● Capture video content that aligns with brand standards, messaging, and target audience preferences.
Video Editing and Post-Production
● Edit raw video footage using Adobe Premiere CC, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs to produce content for our social media, website, and promotional materials.
● Create content for a variety of distribution channels including web and social media in live, long-form, and short-form formats.
● Apply a variety of editing techniques such as cuts, transitions, color grading, and audio mixing.
Equipment Knowledge
● Maintain and operate videography and photography equipment including cameras, lighting, and microphones.
Team Collaboration
● Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with managers and team members, both in-person and remotely.
● Work closely with the Marketing Team to edit videos and photos for a variety of promotional purposes.
Days/ Hours
Part-time; 20-25 hrs./week
Weekends for shoots | Weekdays for editing
Rate
$18 - $25/ hr. based on experience.
Experience
● One year or more experience in videography, video editing, and storytelling.
● Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere CC, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
● Strong understanding of camera equipment, techniques, and maintenance.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
● Strategic thinker who can conceptualize and complete multiple video projects within assigned deadlines.
