Role Overview:

As a Sales Representative, you'll play a crucial role in driving sales, building relationships, and promoting our brand across the NYS region. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing sales strategies, nurturing client relationships, collaborating with the marketing team and representing Ithaca Organics at events. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the cannabis industry and make a significant impact on our company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate fluency, enthusiasm, and expertise in Ithaca Organics and Flo Extracts products as well as our farming and production processes.
  • Conduct budtender training across NYS and motivate dispensaries to promote our brands and product lines.
  • Serve as a role model for our company values in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
  • Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs. Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise pre and post-service.
  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
  • Help develop customer marketing strategies to drive sales and growth within existing accounts.
  • Work with operations to build a CRM to maintain a record of all sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Proactively learn about our products and industry trends to provide exceptional customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in account management and/or outside sales is preferred.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated with a strong sense of integrity.
  • Proven critical thinking skills and flexibility while performing job duties.
  • Able to work independently and have strong follow-through.
  • Knowledge of GoogleSheets for reporting, communication, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis products, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, events, and industry engagements.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle to travel to customers on a daily basis.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
