Business Analyst

Our Client, a financial corporation is a leading supplier of global trading software. Employing in excess of 600 staff and with offices in New York, London, Frankfurt and Tokyo, Our Client has developed a trading platform to provide the most complete range of applications available for trading cash equities across the world’s markets. While Our Client has a heritage of 20 years in Europe it has only been in the US since July 1996 and as such is still in its infancy with a tremendous growth opportunity. We have opportunities in New York for Business Analysts to work with our customers to define how the trading system would be implemented in their environment, and to specify product enhancements to support these customers and to accommodate regulatory and market structure changes.

The role requires a sound knowledge of the equity markets (Nasdaq, NYSE, ECNs), a good understanding of equity business flows, and a technology background.

The following skill set is mandatory:

• Excellent analytical skills
• Knowledge of equity business flows
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills, particularly writing skills

Qualified applicants will also possess at least one of the following skills

• Knowledge of front-office equity trading systems
• Knowledge of equity allocation and settlement processes
• Software background

Pre-requisites:

• BA or BS Degree
• Software and/or Equity background
