ITC Inc is Hiring a Mechanical Engineer - 14161249 Near Clayton, NC

Our large manufacturing client located in Clayton, North Carolina, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer, to add to their team.

Position's Contributions to Work Group: The incumbent must have the willingness to learn our customer's business and develop innovative solutions to meet their needs. You will support multiple simultaneous projects to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction with global product group responsibilities. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but are not limited to designing new fabrications and hydromechanical attachments; creating/releasing drawings; analyzing FEA results; building & evaluating testbed, prove design and pilot builds to support current product issue resolution as well as new product introduction programs through various gateways. This position will be cross functionally focused supporting the engineering and product support teams; reporting to the BCP MHE/BHL/TH Work Tool Manage

Typical Day: Working with engineers on various attachments projects. Design and modeling of attachments, hydraulic lines. Working with suppliers on CPPD of design. Physical fit-up of attachments to machines for prove design

3 days in office per week (on average)

Education Requirements: 5-7 years of experience in a related field. Internship experience is excluded from years of experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Mechanical background preferred)

5 years of experience at minimum (including Master's degree)

Technical Skills: Solid Modeling (Creo preferred)

Drawing creation Fabrications and Welding

GD&T

NPI Development

Develop 3d CAD models modeling and drawing

Hands on Fit up of prototype parts

Root cause analysis

Design (Fabrications, welding, Hydraulic lines routing, castings)

Desired: Hands on design work experience

Soft Skills: Ability to work with cross functional teams

Communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously

Work with a global team (India, China, Europe)

Problem solving

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
