ITAC Solutions is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join a great team in Mobile, AL. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer service-oriented, and possess excellent organizational skills. This role will involve assisting the Property Manager in various tasks, providing support to tenants and prospective tenants, and ensuring smooth operations of the properties.
Pay Rate: $17/hr
This role is on-site.

What you'll be doing (duties of this position):

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the properties.
• Answer phones and handle inquiries from tenants and prospective tenants.
• Provide support to tenants and address their concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist in handling maintenance issues and coordinating repairs with maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager to ensure efficient property management.
• Work with tax credit properties and manage vacancies through waiting lists; no selling involved.
• Assist in leading the properties, supporting the Property Manager in managerial responsibilities.

What you'll need to be considered (requirements):

• High School Education: All candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• One year experience in property management or customer service environment: Candidates should have practical experience in property management or customer service, demonstrating their ability to handle various responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other essential computer programs is necessary for effective communication and documentation.
• Detail-oriented: The candidate must have a keen eye for detail to maintain accurate records and ensure the properties are well-maintained.
• Ability to work with the public/customer service-oriented: Strong interpersonal skills are essential to interact with tenants, prospective tenants, and other stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner.

What could set you apart (highly preferred):

• Tax credit property experience: Experience in managing tax credit properties and familiarity with associated regulations is highly desired.
• Experience working with compliance with the Alabama Housing: Knowledge of local housing regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
• One Site Computer Software Experience: Prior experience with One Site Computer Software will be beneficial in managing property-related tasks efficiently.
