ITA is seeking an Information Assurance Officer (ISSO) to join the team at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

Responsibilities

The IAO will advise and assist the F-35 Partner Support Complex (PSC) leadership team by providing IAO support with management of the unit's Information Assurance (IA) requirements.

The F-35 PSC is a subordinate unit of the 350 Spectrum Warfare Wing (SWW). This position will help the F-35 PSC transition to a data-driven organization by leveraging and extending the LOGCOP capability, in line with the 350 SWW goals. The primary mission of the F-35 PSC is to provide Mission Data (MD) support to F-35 Partner nations.

Functional Areas of Responsibility: - Assist and advise F-35 PSC civilian leadership team on design and implementation of LOGCOP software to manage and assign resources in order to shorten decision timelines- Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain an organization program that identifies IA requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures- Provide A&AS in support of implementing and enforcing all AF IA policies and procedures- Ensure all users have the requisite security clearances and supervisory need-to-know authorization

- Ensure all users receive IA refresher training annually - Ensure IT is operated, used, maintained, and disposed of properly and IAW the IT's C&A documentation- Ensure proper countermeasure procedures are followed. - Coordinate changes or modification to hardware, software, or firmware with the wing IA office and system-level IA Manager or IAO- Report IA incidents or vulnerabilities. Initiate protective or corrective measures when an IA incident or vulnerability is discovered- Implement and maintain required IA, Communication Security, Computer Security, and Emission Security Countermeasures- Initiate requests for temporary and permanent exceptions, deviations, or waivers, to IA requirements or criteria- Work with client support administrator(s) and unit security manager(s) in resolving classified message incidents- Implement changes based on customer requirements and coordinate with the Government technical approval authority- Monitor to confirm information systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of IAW DoD security directives- Conduct periodic reviews, audits and configuration control of computer hardware and software- Maintain and develop system logs and databases- The contractor will serve as a Security Specialist and security advisor, providing management of multiple security disciplines (physical, personnel, information, computer, industrial, operations, and communications security) in support of the 350d SWG's and PSC advanced and special access programs (SAPs). - Utilize LOGCOP capabilities to analyze data and provide process improvement recommendations to the senior F-35 PSC leadership team

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:- US citizenship required- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience- 3-5 years’ experience in SAP level Information Assurance- Secret security clearance required with ability to obtain TS and/or SAP access

Preferred Qualifications:- Cyber program experience with federal customer- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, CISA, CAP highly desired

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:- Ability to analyze Information Systems to help customers understand information security needs and define system security requirements. - Skills related to designing system security architectures, developing and implementing detailed security designs and measures to safeguard information, and assessing information protection effectiveness- Ability to documenting System Security Plans (SSPs) to include security control implementation statements- Ability to support the security assessment and authorization (or ATO) process- Ability to analyze testing results from scans, audits, penetration tests, or other test efforts to determine risk levels- Knowledge of Continuous Monitoring and maintaining the security posture of IT systems
