IT Apps Dev - Energy Transfer Family of Partnerships Careers is Hiring a Lead Specialist - IT Apps Dev Near HOUSTON, TX

Job Description: Analyze, review and modify existing programs as well as design and write new applications. Integrate design interfaces that prompt learning and promote efficiency. Prepare solutions using Visual Studio .NET 2005 and all versions of the .NET Framework. Maintain and write code in Microsoft based languages including VB.NET, ASP.NET and C# as well as industry markup online languages including HTML and XML. Design, code and test software components to specifications and in consultation with Software Architect. Provide software development services for programs, database and other interactive systems operating in .NET and associated web-based and client-server applications. Lead root cause analysis and evaluate alternatives. Solve complex technical problems involving multiple discipline for unique and frequent problems that involve the development of targeted solutions. Create, debug and optimize stored procedures, views, triggers and functions. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Monitor functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications. Recommend purchase of equipment to control dust, temperature, or humidity in area of system installation. Assist in the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and/or modify moderately complex systems. Identify new ways to utilizes technology for productivity and efficiency towards the company’s bottom line. Perform other various duties as assigned. Provide software development services for related functions involving the design of n-tier application architectures. Provide customer service by responding to customer inquiries and concerns. Serves customers by maintaining Company philosophy of going above and beyond, supported by a value proposition that every situation will be handled in a timely manner.

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a related field or the foreign equivalent

Experience Required: Minimum of 8 years experience in software development. 3 years inclusive experience in SQL and large-scale multi-threaded distributed applications utilizing Visual Studio 2003 and 2005, all versions of the .NET Framework, C#, VB.NET, Team Foundation Server, XML, HTML, DHTML, SQL server 2005, SQL Server 2000, ADO.Net, ASP.NET, and Crystal Reports.
