Cashier/Barista

Introduction

Reporting to the Manager or General Manager, the cashier/barista ensures customer satisfaction and comfort. As such, he/she ensures a quality service to build consumer loyalty and increase sales.
The cashier/barista ensures, alone or in a team, the cleaning and setting up of stations. He/she provides dishes as well as serving drinks. He/she is available throughout the service and ensures the satisfaction of his customers. All of this while respecting the rules of hygiene, safety, procedures, and quality standards set up on the restaurant.

Job Summary

• Operates cash register to accept payment for merchandise or services.
• Prepared and serves beverages, baked goods and sandwiches to patrons.

General Accountabilities

• Greets customers.
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers.
• Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Calculates total payments received during a time period and reconciles this with total sales.
• Serve and prepares beverages and food
• Check the temperatures of freezers, refrigerators and heating equipment
• Stock customers service station, refrigerators, updating displays.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
• Maintains clean and orderly checkout area.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality control
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory and production levels.
• Unloading and storing deliveries.
• Supporting other staff members

Contratto di lavoro: Part-time

Retribuzione: $15,00 - $18,00 all'ora
