Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Line Maintainer in Fontana, Ca. Is in charge of maintaining production and ensuring product quality. In this role, mechanical skills are used to establish effective methods and procedures for ensuring product quality. For questions please call Malu at 949-527-6088.

2nd shift starting anywhere between 1:00PM & 3:00PM.

Responsibilities:

• Always follow work instructions and safety policies, including wearing proper PPE and using safety equipment.
• Check machine controls to set up plate changeovers and start machines for production as needed.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
• Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts like bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.
• Listen and observe machinery in operation to identify issues.
• Take apart devices to access and remove defective parts.
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Inspect used parts for dimensional changes.
• Clean and lubricate machinery and support equipment to maintain plant cleanliness and preventive maintenance standards.
• Document and track changeover times.
• Complete all work orders to enhance safety, reduce downtime, minimize scrap, improve production quality, and increase plant efficiency.
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
• Perform any other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, or equivalent training and experience.
• Ability to understand blueprints, schematics, charts, and diagrams.
• Use precision measuring tools such as amp meters, electric meters, and hydraulic gauges.
• Solve practical problems and handle various situations with limited standardization.
• Perform tasks responsibly and professionally, demonstrating personal accountability for all assigned duties.
• Stand for 8-12 hours per shift.
• Availability to work overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Use hands and fingers for job tasks.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and climb.
• Lift up to 35 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
