A day in this position will include a variety of tasks as a manufacturing operations manager including order management, technical assistance, inventory management, loss management and process/documentation creation. We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds, including those with prior shop management skills or not. The ideal candidate is well organized and methodical while having an understanding of all the processes of sheet metal fabrication and a strong attention to detail.

The Day to Day

Order Management and communications with Customer Service, Fulfillment and Engineering Departments

Technical assistance with manufacturing including waterjet, laser cutting, CNC press brake, tig welding, wide belt sanding, and more.

Managing inventory and placing orders with vendors

Maintenance of building and equipment

Reporting to management on value of department and strategy for optimization/growth

Creating process documentation and videos for employees to maintain quality standards.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
