ISS World Careers is Hiring a POS Support Technician - Hybrid Near San Antonio, TX

Key Purpose

The Point of Sale (POS) Support Technician will ensure the successful installation, configuration, and support of the POS systems. In this lead role, you will aid in resolving technology support issues, as well as performing installations, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasks involving the POS system.

Ideal Candidate Experience

· Experience installing various types of electronic equipment and systems

· Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor

· Experience with POS software (Dynamify, Retail 365 Markets and NEXTEP Systems preferred)

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· Ability to determine work priorities

 Key Accountabilities

· Ensure that all installations are completed on time and according to quality standards

· Maintain accurate records of installations, including system configurations, hardware specifications, and any issues encountered

· Maintenance and support of all computers and POS equipment (servers, desktops, cash registers, and laptops), databases, printers, etc.

· Provide day-to-day technical support to customers for POS software, systems, and hardware

· Install, configure, and troubleshoots POS system

· Support POS software, hardware, and development

· Perform functional testing, interpretation, and analysis of test results

· Work with the IT team to develop and modify systems to meet current and future needs

Physical Demands & Work Environment

· Sitting at a computer for long periods of time, at least 90% of the time 

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds 

· Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods 

ISS offers full time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $70000 per year - $80000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills, and may vary from the range listed above.
