Job Description
:

We seek a dynamic and motivated Summer Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a current student or recent graduate passionate about social media and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Jewish and Israeli American community and possess strong communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail. This is a up to 30 hours per week position, $15 per hour and the IAC Social Media Intern/Coordinator will report to the Sr. National Marketing Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling and posting content to social media platforms.
  • Manage the IAC’s national Summit’s Facebook group.
  • Assist in creating engaging content for our social media platforms, including Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media campaigns and strategies, including influencer marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media channels.
  • Research and analyze social media trends and best practices to optimize content performance.
  • Stay informed about relevant news, events, and developments within the Israeli-American community.

Qualifications:

  • Current student or recent graduate (within the past two years).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the Jewish and Israeli American community is preferred but not required.
  • Availability to work up to 30 hours per week from May to September, with flexibility for students returning to school in September.
