About the Israeli American Council:
The mission of the Israeli American Council (IAC) is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens our next generations, the American Jewish Community, and the State of Israel.
Since its foundation in 2007, activism and civic engagement have been one of IAC’s core organizational pilOCrs, with the goal to organize, educate, energize, and mobilize local communities in support of Israel and the Jewish people.
In recent years, the IAC gained specific expertise in educating teens and teachers and dealing with incidents at the public school system, while expanding a network of IAC activist communities across the nation.
The combination of vast experience and national infrastructure, uniquely positions the IAC to fight one of the greatest challenges facing our community.
About IAC Activism
The IAC holds a cutting-edge network of local-hubs, that organize, educate, energize, engage and mobilize local communities in support of Israel and the Jewish people with an emphasis on the public education system. We believe that activism is effective the most when the community is at the front, empowered with all the necessary tools and support. For that, the IAC leverages our network of local communities and committees across the country for grassroot mobilization. We also leverage IAC’s nationwide leadership programs and alumni to educate, train and activate Israeli American change agents.
ACT & IMPACT is IAC’s strategic educational program established to empower teens with the abilities to address and take charge of leadership roles when facing instances of antisemitism and anti-Zionism within their schools and communities. ACT & IMPACT inspires teens to act by blending interactive physical and digital elements, that provide engaging and immersive experiences, while educating participants on how to counteract acts of antisemitism.
