Summary: Seeking a creative and experienced Field Service Technician to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment, delivering the final step of our product by standing up new and transitional network deployments. This role will primarily operate from Friday to Monday, with Monday dedicated to providing onsite support to end-users. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our clients' network infrastructure. This individual will report directly to the CTO.

This is a full-time position, typically working Friday-Monday, with 10 hour work days. This position will work at client sites throughout the country.

Key duties:

• Travel to client sites to network components including firewalls, switches, access points, and other networking equipment.
• Ensure proper cabling and connectivity between network components, adhering to industry standards and system wiring diagrams.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation to verify the functionality and performance of installed equipment.
• Perform on-site surveys and collaborate with clients to determine special circumstances and configuration of end user devices.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on the use of network management software.
• Respond to service requests and provide onsite support to end-users on go-live Mondays, addressing network-related issues and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Document all installations, configurations, and support activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network ) are a plus.
• Proven experience in installing and configuring network components such as firewalls, switches, and access points.
• Understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, etc.).
• Familiarity with network security concepts and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work from Friday to Monday, with flexibility to accommodate occasional schedule changes or additional hours as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,250.00 - $54,975.00 per year
