Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse environment.

• Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments meet customer and company standards.

• Thoroughly document and keep track of work in an organized manner.

• Responsible for relaying shipping information to the customers, freight carriers, accounts payable, inside sales and management team.

• Provide daily updates to production control on shipping status of orders.

• Ensure all order status notes on the load schedule are accurate and notify sales of discrepancies.

• Daily order pickup from production control.

• Responsible for scheduling all carriers.

• Completing export shipping documents.

• Perform duties of Shipping Manager/Accounts

Payable/Invoicing in absence.

• Responsible to accurately log all deliveries.

KEY RESULT AREAS: • Shipping coordinators are the focal point between many parties. They must learn to be familiar with the needs of the customers to provide effective, customized service.

customers and team members.

• Maintaining a positive image of Global Security Glazing.

• Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork.

• Maintain confidentiality in daily operations.

• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

Forms Used:

• Receiving Log, Work Orders, Picking Tickets, Packing Slips, Bill of Ladings, Shipping

Report, Export Documents, Completed Order List, etc.

Equipment Used:

• Computer, Printer, Telephone, TCM, Fork-Lift, Overhead Crane, Hand Dolly, etc

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving tasks
- Ability to operate a forklift and familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes and order-picking procedures
- Skilled in using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and RF scanners
- Strong communication and analytical skills for effective task completion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
