Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our fully digital and vibrant team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality orthodontic care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the orthodontist during procedures, maintaining infection control protocols, and ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during orthodontic procedures, including preparing the treatment area and necessary instruments
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
- Perform routine maintenance and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order as needed
- Schedule patient appointments and handle administrative tasks as required

Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
- Proficiency in dental software systems, We use Dolphin ( we can teach, no worries)
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Knowledge of orthodontic assisting procedures, mostly how to tie in, and untie, the rest we can teach you!
- Basic understanding of anatomy related to oral health and orthodontic treatment
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
