Job Title: Supervisor

Department: FINS UP Water Park

Reports To: Park Management

SUMMARY: This position oversees the smooth operation of the park as well as supervising all staff in your respective department as well as other departments when needed. Supervisors must have friendly and helpful customer service skills as well as problem solving skills to deescalate any issues that may arise during a guest’s visit or for an associate. Supervisors must be able to hold themselves accountable as well as associates and set a good example for smooth operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create and deliver fun and escapism

· Organize and direct staff on the daily duties needing to be completed

· Check on the associates in assigned area each hour. ensure they are focused and enforcing park policies

· Maintain a clean workspace 

· Answer phone calls

· Make staff schedules

· Assist one or multiple guests at a time with any questions

· Address any maintenance or safety concerns immediately 

· Effective communication with coworkers and supervisors

· Operate a admissions technology with efficiency

· Provide proper customer service

· Must be able to read and write 

· Proficient computer skills 

· Enforce and know all policies 

· Make sure that all staff look professional and are in proper uniform at all times

· All other duties as assigned

This is a supervisorial role. See above for all essential duties. 

QUALIFICATIONS

· Must be at least 16 years of age

· Communicate in a friendly manner even when stressed

· Customer service experience preferred

· Able to stand for long periods of time

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Customer service and/or hospitality experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence and complete reports detailing customer interactions. Ability to effectively present information and give directions with customers and employees.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in both written and verbal form. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables.
