A Service Advisor is often our first point of contact for service customers. In this role, you will prepare written estimates for service work and parts and act as a liaison between customers, manufacturer representatives, and service technicians. You will be trained on our equipment, management system, procedures and customer etiquette. You will be paid a base plus commission for this role.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments

• Must have outgoing, friendly personality and superior communication and customer service skills

• Initiate repair orders, scheduling and maintain control of repair orders until closed and invoiced

• Assist in the filing of warranty claims and helping complete the warranty process

• Must be customer service, yet goal-oriented, maintaining a sales-focused approach in an effort to increase service revenue

• Handles Repair Order charges

• Helps maintains the service library with up-to-date information

• Maintains a clean and safe work area

• Handles service department filing and records

• Updates customer profiles using equipment, hours or other information from work orders

• Operate a tractor and tow a trailer

• Completes other duties as needed or assigned

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent

• Professional appearance and positive attitude to all customers

• Ability to communicate at a high level, both verbally and in writing

• Organizational and computer skills are required for the position

• Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and process driven

• Have a valid state driver’s license

• Ability to operate all equipment sold by the dealership

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background/drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
