JOB TITLE: Retail Cashier
REPORTS TO: Retail Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Retail
FLSA STATUS: Hourly Non-Exempt
POSITION SUPERVISED: None
JOB SUMMARY: Retail cashiers will be responsible for offering outstanding guest service to each of our park guests. They must also ensure that all transactions are conducted accurately and efficiently.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Offer World Class Guest Service to all our Guests.
Operate cash register systems.
Responsible for adherence to all cash handling procedures.
Store stocking/visual merchandising.
Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of work location.
Assist managers and supervisors with inventory control methods.
Assist managers and supervisors in completing suggested orders and receiving deliveries.
Process damaged merchandise.
Speak positively about products in your location with Guests.
Serve Guests quickly and efficiently.
Smile and Greet each Guest in your location.
Maintain a safe working environment for your Guests and fellow Team Members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: None
Experience: Previous retail experience preferred but not required.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that would include weekends and holidays.
Must be proficient in basic mathematics.
Must be able to communicate well with others and work in a Team environment.
Must be motivated and able to display initiative to complete daily tasks.
Maintain an organized cash register for sale of products.
Perform clean-up duties of all kinds before, during, and after a shift.
Always exhibit proper Guest Service Skills.
Report to work on time, as scheduled.
May be shifted to various locations, as staffing needs dictate.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Responsible for adhering to Island H2O Water Park uniform and grooming guidelines.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position requires standing, walking, crouching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing - Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position stock and boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying climates.

The team member may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
