Island Dental Group is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near Plainview, NY

Dental Receptionist

Duties:

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the office's phone system
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing
- Collect and record patient payments for services rendered
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Assist with managing the dental office's appointment schedule
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus
- Proficient in using phone systems and scheduling software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
