Island Creek Associates is Hiring an Administrator/Administrative Service Manager-Senior (24-013) Near Patuxent River, MD

Summary:

Island Creek Associates, a professional services firm, is currently seeking an Administrator/Admin Service Manager, Senior at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-routine administrative and analytical tasks in one or more business support functions within the organization, including contracts, facilities planning, finance, logistics, property management, purchasing and/or security.
  • May perform tasks relative to the control of company and/or government property assigned to the organization.
  • May perform facilities planning activities, including coordinating the storage and movement of furniture, systems, and equipment.
  • May act as facility security officer to ensure compliance with company, customer and government security regulations and procedures. May maintain financial databases, analyze data, and develop reports.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

Required Education:

MA/MS Degree in Management, Business Management, or other relevant technical discipline with over 10 years of experience.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: BA/BS Degree with an additional two (2) years of experience, AA/AS degree and an additional four (4) years of experience, or no degree and an additional six (6) years of experience.

Required Experience:

Over ten (10) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Desired Experience:

Desired facilities experience includes Managing and coordinating NMCI equipment, office furniture, personnel seating assignments, and facility security, Processing telephone office requests for air cards, cell phones, voice mail requests, phone transfers, and office moves, providing facility support for Restricted Access Area, Managing condition of safes and locks. Desired physical security experience includes Policies and procedures for issuing building access, Issuing Common Access Card (CAC) and Active Client Agent, Desired NMCI – NIPR/SIPR experience includes Operation policies and procedures for Information Technology (IT), Managing IT security, and IT customer support.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Normal working hours are 8.5 hours for a standard day (including a 30-minute lunch break) and 9.5 hours for a CWS day (including a 30-minute lunch break), with core hours being 0830 to 1500 each Monday through Friday (except on the legal holidays specified in the basic contract). The contractor has the flexibility to start as early as 0600 and end as late as 1800 Monday through Friday.

Travel:

Some travel to other locations in support of program tasking may be required for this position.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position may have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the Secret Level. Ideal candidates will currently possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance; however, candidates with US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance will be considered. Must be able to receive a Government Common Access Card (CAC), access Government systems, and receive a security clearance.
