Position Title: A/V Technician
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: Systems Engineer
Position Status: Non-Exempt (Pay Grade 7)
General Functions:
Primary: Duties include broadcast of the Village’s council and planning meetings including installation maintenance of the audio-visual systems. This position incudes nighttime work schedules for live meetings.
Secondary: Website administration, help desk support for end users.

Minimum qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements for Position:
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings. Experience with MS Active Directory, MS Group Policy, desktop management software, MS Internet Information Service, PBX and/or VOIP telephony system. Proficiency in the operation of personal computers; hardware and software applications including MS Office products and Microsoft Operating Systems. Demonstrated listening, verbal and written communication skills; accurately prepare all types of business correspondence, design and produce reports; ability to analyze and interpret job related business periodicals and technical manuals.
Valid Florida driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements:
Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials up to twenty five (25) pounds. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate sounds and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
Work Environment:
Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
