Responsibilities for Kitchen Manager
- Responsible for oversight of Production & tray line service.
- Conduct training on Dietary procedures and expectations
- Develop schedule for kitchen staff to ensure coverage and maximize operational efficiencies
- Coordinate with the Dietary Manager and the cooking staff on the menu offerings
- Establish relationships with vendors
- Place food and supply orders as necessary
- Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and meets all regulations
- Ensure the food is prepared to quality standards, in a timely manner
- 5 years of experience working in LTC or other facility.
- Valid ServSafe certification
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with the kitchen staff
- Superior attention to detail
- Proficient with budgeting
- Skilled negotiator
- Available to work needed weekends, holidays, but no late nights.
