Job Overview:

We are seeking a Lineperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in telephone systems, cabling, low & high voltage work, and field service.

This is a unique and ongoing Telecom opportunity that requires cutting down 100,000 telephone cables known as Drop-Removal in the state of Michigan.

1 and 2 man crews needed

Positions availale:

- Lineman Technician

Duties:

- Take pictures before & after removal

- Climb 28ft Fiber Glass ladder

- Test line with TS53 PRO Test Set tester

- Perform cuts and removal of telecommunications line from pole to pole.

- Properly dispose of telecom line.

Tools needed:

- 28ft fiberglass ladder (we can provide with paycheck reduction)

- TS53 PRO Test Set (we can provide with paycheck reduction)

- Cable cutters

- Hard hat

- Safety vest

- Recent phone with camera for clear picture reporting

Requirements:

- Experience in cable removal, telephone systems, cabling, low voltage work, and field service
- Proficiency in electrical work related to telecommunications
- Ability carry an 80lb latter for elevated line work
- Ability to climb 28ft Fiberglass ladder 20 times a day for 8 hours
- Capability to complete 20-30 cutdowns a day

- Must have reliable model Truck, Van, or SUV no older than 7 years that can transport 28ft, 80lb ladder.

Must have Drivers license, and proof of insurance

Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,400.00 per week

• 1099 contract
• Paid weekly

• 8 hour shift

Travel requirement:

• Up to 100% travel
