Description:
We are seeking an experienced Military Data Subject Matter Expert to join our team. As a Data SME, your expertise in Data Science, Data Visualization, and Data Engineering will be pivotal in shaping the future of our data-driven capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Support data initiatives by guiding the development of automation, improving data quality, and creating visually compelling data analytics.
Provide actionable insights to defense leadership and decision-makers.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver multi-phased digital enterprise solutions through a focus on process analysis, data transformation, and pragmatic change management.
Lead data-driven decision-making utilizing data analysis and statistical modeling techniques to support evidence-based decision-making.
Leverage historical and predictive analytics to predict trends, identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.
Conduct scenario analysis to assess the impact of different courses of action and identify effective strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Implement performance metrics that align to DoD Principal Staff Assistant objectives, enabling continuous evaluation of executive effectiveness.
Lead the coordination of requirements meetings or conduct requirements workshops and sessions, with business and stakeholders.
Requirements:
TS/SCI clearance is required
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a military Data Subject Matter Expert or related role, with demonstrated experience with digital strategy, IT project management, enterprise architecture, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), or transformation.
Knowledge of Qlik/Qlik Sense, QVD/QlikView, and Qlik Production Application Standards (QPAS) is a significant plus.
High level of proficiency in Python, DataBricks, SQL, Spark, and other Data Engineering and Data Science tools.
