We are seeking qualified DSP candidates for in-home, direct care positions working with a teenage boy for the summer. He enjoys going to the pool, taking walks with staff, going to the park, watching his favorite TV shows and movies, and playing with his sister and family dog. The job location is a private residence in Sewickley, close to Beaver County, Airport area, and the northwest suburbs of Pittsburgh.
Job responsibilities include assisting with all aspects of personal care, communication supports, meals (implementing dietary needs), and medications. Other tasks may include companionship, ensuring safety, and community activities.

Experienced caregiver will:
-Be responsible for supervision, safety, and welfare of the individual at all times.-Be responsible for establishing and maintaining a productive daily activity pattern by consistently facilitating the individual’s ISP.-Provide assistance and/or supervision to the individual in the areas of community and social integration, healthcare management. -Serve as a member of the team for the development of ISP. Give feedback on the individual's performance in accomplishing goals and objectives of the ISP.-Communicate information consistently and will be responsible for documenting incidents on appropriate forms and verbally relaying information to the Common Law Employer.-Demonstrate basic knowledge to assure a safe and healthy environment for all residents.-Demonstrate recognition of, and properly report suspected abuse and neglect.-Perform all other duties as assigned.

June 1st - June 18th
Available Hours:
7 days a week from Sunday to Saturday 8am to 8pm (8 hour shifts minimum but prefer 12 hour shifts)
June 19th - July 17th
Available Hours:
Monday to Thursday 1:30pm to 8pm
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8am to 8pm (8 hour shifts minimum but prefer 12 hour shifts)
July 18th - August 30th >
Available Hours:
7 days a week from Sunday to Saturday 8am to 8pm (8 hour shifts minimum but prefer 12 hour shifts)
