Executive Director of IQAir Foundation For over 60 years, IQAir has been a leader in improving indoor air quality in residential, commercial and institutional markets. IQAir's vision is to assist people in living longer, healthier lives by providing products and services to help them breathe cleaner, healthier air. For our North American headquarters, located in La Mirada, California, we have an immediate opening for an Executive Director of IQAir Foundation. Summary The Executive Director is an expert in air quality and environmental, social and corporate governance. The Executive Officer is results-driven and provides leadership for all aspects of the organization with an emphasis on short and long-term goals and the execution of school and community air quality programs. This position is responsible for building new partnerships and funding opportunities nationwide and globally, oversees grant proposals and implementation. The Executive Director has strong interpersonal and technical skills, the ability to empathize and work with people with different backgrounds with an appreciation for servant leadership, community-centered solutions, and Environmental and climate justice. Responsibilities
Identify, develop and submit proposals and grants for funding
Develop presentations for stakeholders
Build relationships and engage with government organizations, community members, leaders, organizers, Environmental Justice partners and other clients.
Work with Community Outreach Director to develop short- & long-term tactical business development strategies
Maintain organization operations in ERP/CRM system, including entry and regular review and update of opportunities.
Attends industry functions virtually or in person, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and industry trends
As top organizational executive, the Executive Director gives presentations and represents the IQAir Foundation at events and conferences.
Regularly report to board and president on status opportunity status.
Create regular progress reports and perform thorough analysis
Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's ERP/CRM (Dynamics).
Up to 50% travel required
Qualifications
Air Quality background with emphasis on program management, government, policy and fundraising experience
Experience with writing grants or managing the grant writing process for non-profits
Highly effective communication skills, capable of adapting communication style to a varied audience
Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
